TLDR: From the main dashboard, click Create a new job button and follow the steps.
By following these steps, you will be able to post a job while getting the most attention from our community and candidates. If you have any questions, we've included an email at the bottom for you to reach out.
Step 1: Start a new job post
First things first, go to Log in page and enter credentials to access your dashboard:
Still don't have an account? Sign up, it's free.
This will take you to your dashboard.
Once you've clicked the “Create a new job” button, you will be taken to a new job page on our website. Here, you will be able to submit details for your job opening.
Step 2: Job Details
Job title
A job post is limited to a single job. Please specify like "Scrum Master" or "Java Engineer", not a sentence like "Looking for a Scrum Master". DO NOT use caps lock.
Location
Use a specific, full location name. In case you're advertising a remote position, choose a preferred region if you are not open to worldwide candidates.
Description and responsibilities
Describe what the job will be like and the responsibilities of this position. Make it visually appealing and readable by using bullets. A well-defined job description usually gets better conversions.
Requirements
List requirements that are absolutely necessary for a candidate to be successful in this role. DO NOT add links. It is illegal to target a specific group based on their gender, religion, nationality, and more.
Benefits
Describe your company and what makes it a great career choice. Don’t worry if it’s not 100% right, you can always edit after posting your job!
Selection process
Giving your candidates a brief overview of the selection process will help prepare them to showcase their skillset, which makes for a smoother experience for all parties involved.
Tags & Details
Keywords you add will show up as tags in search. This way, Recrooiters may easily come across your job post once they have a candidate with a specific skill set to recommend.
Optimize your job post visibility by adding keywords and employment details. E.g. if you add ‘PHP’ as a keyword, and set freelance employment type, it will show up in ‘Freelance PHP’ Jobs results. Use a comma to separate multiple keywords.
Salary and equity
We did a thorough research, and it turns out that salary range for job posts on Recrooit are a must-have. Recrooiters need data to be able to successfully recommend your job post to their network. That's why we decided to hide job posts without salary data from the search.
If you have concerns about sharing the salary range, please read the rest of this paragraph. If none of these answer your question, feel free to reach out to support@recrooit.com to see if we can help.
If you're not sure what the compensation for the role will be, you can set a wide range, e.g. $12.000 - $120.000. This way, your job post will be included in the job search.
If you simply don't want to publish salary range data, you can buy a position on Premium job, which will allow you to publish a job without compensation data and your job post will be visible in the job search.
